Data Storage and Security
Local Storage
Most of your data is stored locally on your device: Quran reading progress, dhikr counts, meditation session history, women's cycle tracker data, and personal notes and preferences.
Cloud Storage
The following data is stored in our secure Firebase servers: account credentials, prayer preferences, AI Q&A conversation history, and family challenge data (when shared).
Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest.

Location Data
We collect location data only when you grant permission, and only for: calculating accurate prayer times, finding nearby mosques, and determining Qibla direction. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings.
Children's Privacy
Muslim Therapy is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
Data Retention
We retain your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, cloud data is deleted within 30 days, cached data on our servers is removed, and local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app.
Your Data is NOT:
- Sold to third parties
- Used for targeted advertising
- Shared without your consent
- Accessed by employees except for support purposes
